Two If By Sea is sired by the late stallion Rahy, who was Grade 1 winner as a two year old and finished his career with over 6 million in earnings. He has won numerous stakes races such as the G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile, the G1 Epsom Derby, the G1 Travers Stakes, the G1 Melbourne Cup, the G1 Japan Cup, and the G1 Prince of Wales Stakes. In his 18 starts, he never placed out of 3rd place, with performances in the G1 Wood Memorial, the G1 Santa Anita Handicapp, and the G1 Australian Derby.
